Labradorite Pendant set in Etched Sterling Silver

Labradorite is a rare feldspar named after the region of Canada where it was discovered although it has since been found in Australia, Finland, Sicily, Norway and the Ukraine. It is noted for its stunning iridescence, caused by light bouncing off inclusions of magnetite. This unique effect is known as "labradorescence".
