Rhodocrosite stone set in Etched Sterling Silver-Ring Size 7

This is a beautiful tear drop shaped Rhodocrosite stone set in etched sterling silver. This ring has a cute little flower etched on the back and the stone measures 3/4" in length. The bezel and ring band are both ornate and the ring band measures a size 7. This ring has a beautiful patina finish.

Rhodocrosite, often resembling a version of blue lace agate in reds, oranges and pinks, owes its color to the presence of manganese. Some rhodocrosite brings to mind ripples on a pool covered with rose petals.
