Sunstone set in Sterling Silver - Size 7.5

This is a beautiful sunstone set in sterling silver. The ring is a size 7.5 and is surrounded by an ornate bezel wire and finished off with an intricate ring band. The stone measures about 3/4" on the longest side.

Sunstones are a form of feldspar. They exhibit a brilliant spangled appearance when viewed from certain directions. They are usually brown, their color caused by the presence of copper in the stone. Just as moonstone seems to contain the soft luster of the moon, so sunstone reflects the brighter golden dazzle of the sun.
